Actress Cameron Diaz has denied rumours that she is dating Tom Cruise.
The rumours surfaced after Diaz was pictured with Cruise and fellow actors Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem as she celebrated her 40th birthday Aug 30.
“You have comedy, drama and action and it’s very dynamic so it’s actually four times the workload.
Action movies are difficult and this has everything I love in movies.
So it's not like the reports aren't helping promote her upcoming project...
But last November, an insider also told Us Weekly that Cruise and Prepon "see each other at some functions, but they are not dating."Cruise's last high-profile relationship, with "Dawson's Creek" alum Katie Holmes, ended in summer 2012, when the pair announced their split after seven years of marriage.
Since 2006’s Mission: Impossible III, his only star vehicles have been UA’s little-seen Lions for Lambs and the Second World War thriller Valkyrie. He is in pre-production for Mission: Impossible IV and is starring with Cameron Diaz in the all-action screwball comedy-thriller Knight and Day. “I don’t understand why people think that,” he says, talking in a hotel suite in New York. All I can think about is making the movie at hand and doing the best I can and enjoying it. ” Dressed in denim shirt and jeans, 48-year-old Tom Cruise is on curiously introspective form.
“I’ve heard so many things, going back to Top Gun and Rain Man and Born on the Fourth of July – 'He’s not going to make another movie’; 'He’s just a teen idol’; 'It’s going to destroy his career’. He has just flown in from Seville where he, Diaz and the director James Mangold have been promoting Knight and Day, part of which was filmed there.
Cruise's rep shut down rumors by telling the Daily Mail that not only has Cruise, 51, not been dating the "Orange Is the New Black" actress, but the two have never even met.
In November, the pair were reportedly spotted having dinner together at the Manor Hotel in Los Angeles and Cruise picked her up in a vintage car and had a bottle of 1979 Merlot waiting for her. )PHOTOS: Celebrity splits of 2014Still, Page Six columnist Richard Johnson asserted Thursday that the actors were an item "but they are being extremely careful to keep it secret.""It's the buzz on the set of her show," an insider told the publication.
Prepon, of "That '70s Show" and "How I Met Your Mother," plays a lesbian drug dealer on the Netflix series "Orange Is the New Black," which returns June 6.
Diaz has admitted that when filming began she, Cruise and Mangold made up many of the action scenes as they went along.
The film has polarised US critics, some of whom have enjoyed its mixture of spycraft with comedy and romance, while others have baulked at the convoluted story and over-the-top action scenes.
